I *am* from Chicago! (Originally, not currently.) And people always ask me why I say things a certain way, where my accent is from, etc. So weird. What accent do you have?

The same as you, which makes sense, I suppose. I don't call it "pop," though -- I've converted to "soda."
The one that always gets me in trouble is "duck, duck, gray duck." Apparently that only occurs in MN -- everybody else thinks there's a goose in there....
