School
Shell-shocked (from realizing I'm the youngest mom in the Bear's upcoming kindergarten class)
Snobs (all the other, older, richer, thinner, prettier moms)
Scared Shitless (by the thought of having to think about kindergarten for the Bear already)
Surprised (at seeing my own workplace from a parent's point of view)
Sticker Shock (from what we would be paying if I didn't work there)
Sore (my feet, from working in heels two days in a row)
Sad (because we came home too late and the kids were asleep already)

I am so there with you on the sticker shock and fear of other other moms. The halfday pre-k program we'll almost certainly be sending Peter to in the fall is $6600 (dh works there so we automatically pay no more than half tuition and we're waiting to hear back about financial aid, which they only give to faculty kids before 9th grade).
Digging the letter thing.
And yeah, I totally have this disconnect from "school" Moms. It's weird.
Wow Kindergarten is free in new Zealand for 3.5-5 years. You just have to help with fundraisers.
School is free too if you go to public school, you pay something like 500 per year.
Private school is $2,500 a term and there are four terms per year.
Man you guys get whipped just to educate your children. Thats disgusting.
